The Gaslight Anthem’s punk-infused arena rock has planted a Jersey Shore flag on both Canadian and American radio dials. The band’s third LP, American Slang, was deemed one of this year’s most anticipated albums by Rolling Stone, and the quartet has been chosen to open for their patron saint, Bruce Springsteen, in England this summer – a move sure to propel them further up the ranks of modern rock.
