Leader of her own Cabaret Band (featuring guitarist/pianist Cosmos Quazar and drummer Tim van de Ven), and curator of The WAWA Show, an annual showcase of female artists, Mabro has made her mark on Montreal’s music scene. Mabro is a classic pop singer-songwriter with a sassy, brassy spirit and choice vocal chops, as heard on her band’s album Superwoman in the Making, as well as the Red Rows and Wine Flows EPs.
